Reports are coming in of an explosion at Tata Steel in Velsen-Noord yesterday morning and four casualties are reported.
Maintenance work was being carried out at the plant's coke and gas plant and, following a ground-shaking explosion, workers have been taken to hospital.
According to Tata Steel, no leaks took place and production is continuing as normal.
